We
offer small amounts of civil engineering
work, primarily related to the water and
water treatment markets. Some of the areas
we are involved in are detailed below.

| Waterworks |
|
Over
the years we have built up a portfolio of
waterworks contracts including municipal
and industrial water and sludge treatment
systems such as reactor tanks, trickling
filters, digestion tanks and settling weirs.
Much of our work is sub-contract to the main
contractors such as Gleesons although for
smaller contracts such as farm, domestic
and other private developments we can offer
a complete service.

| Roads & Bridges |
|
Much
of our highways and infrastructure work is
focused on the private sector and includes
residential and industrial estate road laying,
car parks, and new/rebuild bridge projects.
Our experience with bridges encompasses river,
road, and rail crossings for vehicular traffic
and footbridges both new and rebuild/repair.
We carry out a limited degree of section
278 work, with most of our highway work focusing
on concrete and bitumous pavements including
car parks, loading yards, private roads,
footpaths and cycleways.

Engineering |
|
We
offer inland waterway engineering services
involving flood defence, river frontages,
bank erosion, outfalls, coffer dam dewatering,
and related water structures such as weirs,
dams, gauges, culverts and hydrologic features.
We were involved with the A355 Windsor flood
relief channel which was part of the larger
Thames flood relief program to build a new
channel from Maidenhead to Eton.

| Tanks |
|
We
have undertaken the construction of ground
and structural water holding tanks for irrigation,
water supply, flood relief, balancing ponds
and interceptors primarily for main contractors
although we can carry out full design and
build services for smaller projects.

We
have particular experience with the construction
of pumping stations including pipework installation.
