We
are specialists in power trowel finished
slabs suitable for high quality concrete
surfaces. We also cater for a wide range
of other slabs and floors including suspended
floors, ground beams and plant foundations.
We also undertake the construction of slabs
and floors with damp proof membranes or on
Cellcore systems where required.

| Pile
Supported Slabs |

For
traditional green field sites we offer pile
supported foundations using regular methods.
Surface finishes include power trowelling
and tamp finishing as detailed below as well
as brushing and printing. We have experience
with specialist slab work with for internal
building drainage for applications such as
boat houses, farm buildings and washdown
facilities.

| Suspended
Floor Slabs |

For
the more common brownfield development sites
we offer suspended floor slabs using a range
of techniques including custom mesh and composite
systems. Other options for suspended floor
slab construction include the use of fibres,
joints, membranes, admixtures, concrete variants,
curing agents and dry-shake toppings. If

| Timber
Suspended Floors |
|
Using
treated strength graded timber joists to
BS4978 we offer timber suspended floors to
customer specifications.

| Heavy
Foundations |
|
Where
supporting floors require increased surface
load bearing capacity such as heavy plant,
processing or loading, we offer deep slabwork
with strengthening additives to protect the
floor from failure through high loads, shock
and subsidence.

| Power
Trowel & Tamp Finished Slabs |
|
Our
plant division operates a number of ride
on power trowels for providing a fine finish
for the floors of warehouse and other commercial
and industrial buildings. This is a service
which we have specialised in since incorporation
in 1988 and one which we have converted into
an art form.

| Ground
Beams |
|
For
housing and related projects we offer ground
beams cast in-situ using the ground as the
soffit. This offers a cheaper and more effective
method than using precast beams. The ground
beams are cast over strategically placed
piles driven to varying depths. If necessary
we can use permanent shutter such as Cordek.
